Shadow of an Empire Has Been Released!

Shadow of an Empire

It’s here! It’s finally here! Sands and storms, Shadow of an Empire has arrived!

That’s right! It’s June 1st, and that means Shadow of an Empire is now available for purchase, your reading pleasure, and to be the biggest Fantasy-Western seller of June 2018. Also, just in time for the weekend. Isn’t that convenient?

Those of you who want to get your hands on it ASAP but didn’t pre-order (and as it turns out, you do get pre-orders a few hours before the official release, handy that) can click that beautiful cover image and order yours! Or just Amazon search Shadow of an Empire by Florschutz and get to reading!

And when you’ve finished it! Please consider leaving a review or a rating on Amazon or Goodreads or telling your friends what you thought! If you enjoyed it, let the world know!

Now, there’s a second part to this post. For those who were eligible for a reward copy, either because you were part of the Alpha/Beta crew, or you were a $5+ Patreon supporter: Check your email! They have all been sent out!

Now for some technical issues: I tried Amazon’s new mass-gifting system this time, and it appears to be new enough that there are a few glitches. Such as the system telling you that your reward cannot be claimed in your country. I have spoken with Amazon, and this is a glitch. It isn’t supposed to be happening. You may be able to “trick” it by having you Amazon account open in another tab while clicking to accept the gift, but I’ve got no confirmation of this yet. You may also be able to get it by trying a few more times. Again, this is a bug.

Rest assured, the old gifting system is there as a backup. If you are unable to claim your copy after trying, let me know, and keep trying over the next few days. If nothing changes, I will send you a copy through the old system and scrap the link from the new system. Those of you who got copies have my e-mail, and I am more than willing to get this into your hands ASAP. Just contact me if something goes amiss. The only catch here is that I have to do them all at the same time, so you may have to wait a bit … but we’ll cross that bridge when it comes.

In the meantime, if it works like it should, enjoy!

Now everyone get out there and get reading!
